A day in their in life

November 2, 2016 was an unusual type of school day for me compared to the other students at Johnstown High School.

While I was getting ready for school, i knew i had to dress in a formal attire, so they would take me seriously. I started walking into school and i began to get nervous. I did not want to disappoint the photographers, so I went in with a sophisticated attitude.

When I walked in I said “Hello, I am Megan McKee and I am your assistant for the day.” They then told me their names and Heather, one of the photographers, asked if i could steam clothes that students getting their portraits taken would wear. Of course I said yes and got straight to work.

As I was steaming the dress shirts, I watched them set up their cameras and photography equipment. The photographers had a lot to do, so I was the person who did check in and directed the students on where to go. When i was done with check in, I got to go behind the photographers and watched them do their magic.

I was so amazed at what the photographers did and what their life consists of. I can definitely see myself doing this one day!

I am a sophomore at Greater Johnstown high school. I am in the Associates Degree in high school program and also, I am in interact club, journalism, school and travel softball, and I have my own photography business.
