Girls Varsity Redeems Themselves

The CHS girls varsity redeemed themselves by winning their most recent game. On Thurs. Mar. 21, the girls held a home game at Wilderness Park against Norfolk.

The beginning of the game started off pretty rocky for our girls. Norfolk was taking the lead for majority of the game, however, CHS varsity girls made a great comeback. Junior, Sofia Gomez had scored the first goal tying up Norfolk with Columbus leading to a shootout. Sophomores, Madison Jenny, Molly Roberts, and Katelyn Lantis each scored a goal during the shootout. The final score was 3-1.

Congratulations to our CHS girls varsity team! The next game will be in Fremont on Fri. Mar. 22.
