Night to Shine Has Huge Success

Columbus hosted a Night to Shine event on Feb. 8. The event was held at 1C church.  Over 100 people with special needs attended the event. Each person with special needs had a buddy to accompany them throughout the night. Girls with special needs could get their hair and makeup done to start their evening. Then, the patrons received either a corsage or boutonniere, and they got their picture taken by a professional photographer. The buddy pairs walked the red carpet, danced to music provided by a DJ, took either a limo or party bus ride, and ate dinner. At the end of the night, the buddies crowned their special guest with a big crown or a tiara. Night to Shine ran very smoothly and was a huge success. Watch for Night to Shine to come back next year!
