On Tuesday Dec. 11, the Discoverer varsity wrestlers beat the Elkhorn Antlers 75-3 at home. Blayze Standley lost his match 4-3, but fought hard. The majority of the team pinned their opponent very quickly. Keep working hard Discoverers!

On Dec. 14 and 15, the wrestlers competed in the annual Flatwater Fracas tournament at the Heartland Event Center in Grand Island. This event was another sweep for the wrestling team. Carter Kucera, Carson Zwingman, and Kasten Grape personally went undefeated the whole weekend. The closest dual was against Gretna with a score of 24-50. We beat Cheyenne East 29-45, North Platte 57-15, Fairbury 72-12, and Hastings 24-45. Congrats on another great weekend wrestlers!!

Senior Carter Kucera reached a milestone of 150 career wins, and junior Kasten Grape reached 100 wins over the weekend. Great job boys!
