CHS Diamonds Compete at UNO

On Sunday, Dec. 9, the Columbus High Diamond Dancers traveled to Omaha to Compete in their first competition for the 2018-2019 season. The Diamonds competed at the UNO campus and performed their state pom routine. The team’s energetic performance earned them fourth place, a few points behind Bennington and just enough to trump Lewis Central. The Diamonds’ next competition will be on Sunday, Jan. 13 in Centura. They will dance at halftime at the varsity basketball games on Friday, Dec. 14. Congratulations on yet another successful performance dancers!

I spend my time participating in various activities such as NHS, FBLA, and swim team. Netflix and swimming are my passions as well as eating Captain Crunch for dinner. I like all genres of music but my top three choices are country, pop, and Broadway musicals. I am looking forward to another year on the CHS newspaper staff!
