Northern School District's Polar Bear Foundation recently asked principals of every school in the district to nominate at least three people who are "superheroes" of their prospective schools. Just what it takes to be a superhero was left up to each individual principal's interpretation,  but the lists were impressive.

High school principal, Steve Lehman, chose these three candidates:  Shannon Trostle (math teacher), Michelle Eshenhour (front desk secretary), and Mike Heintzleman (head custodian). Take a look and see what makes these three "super."
