Texting and Driving

Most of the time, if you pay attention to people driving past you, they are usually on their cell phones. Most of the people are teenagers. 11 teens die every day due to texting and driving.  Using a cell phone while driving makes a fatal crash 23% more likely to happen.  82% of teenagers in America have cell phones.  13% admit to using their cell phones when a crash happened.

Adults are not helping at all. They tell kids not to text and drive, but 63% of kids have seen their parents text and drive or talk on the phone and drive. These are very bad influences for young drivers. Young drivers see their parents text and drive and that makes the young drivers think it's okay, but it's really not. This problem needs to be fixed so save more lives of young teens.
