Concert rookie? No problem! Take a few tips from a seasoned concert-goer like me! There are many things a concert rookie would need to know before attending a concert. You need to know how to prepare yourself, what you should wear, how you’re getting there, and what to do once you actually arrive in the venue.
To begin, you should think about what you should wear to the concert. If it is an outdoor venue, you should consider the weather forecast and then think about wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Some people think that it’s not appropriate to wear a shirt of the band performing at the concert. If you like the band, wear the shirt. You’re showing that you support the band. You could also wear something that resembles a member of the band such as an outfit that they’re well-known for. Along with what to wear, you should also know what to take with you. Portable chargers are always a good idea to take. You should take a small bag to hold everything. You should take anything reasonable you believe you’d need for the few hours you’ll be there.
If you are driving to the concert you’ll need to keep a few things in mind. First, think about how crazy it will be once you get to the venue. You’ll have some struggles trying to park. Once you find your parking spot, you’ll need to remember where you parked. After the concert you’ll be stuck in the parking lot for a long while. To avoid all of this, try to get a hotel within walking distance to the venue. Keep all of that in mind when thinking about how to get to the concert.
If you arrive to the venue early, you’ll have to wait in the que to get inside. This is your opportunity to chat with other fans and make new friends. Once you get into the concert, you should find your seats and if you’re planning on getting merch (merchandise), head straight to the merch stand. The stand will get crazy if you don’t get there soon. They also might run out of the size you want. Once you get back to your seat, try talking to the people around you as you wait for the band to come out on stage. When they’re on stage, enjoy.
