Chili Cook-off/Lighthouse Community Church

Friday night on March 10th, Lighthouse Community Church held their annual cook-off.  This year we had outside perspective from Pastor Tim's lifelong friend and his wife, with one of the church's pastor's daughter, and the pastor's future grandson-in-law.  We had many people come in from all over town with their best chili and fellowship with the rest of the God loving people.  Everybody was taste testing the different chili with the many bowls that were being passed around.  This year,  we had an interesting taste of chili.  My sister had found a bowl that tasted like it had tomato juice in it.  Even though I don't know who had made the chili,  a lot of people found it tasteful.  Lastly, the winner ended up being a church favorite.  Alicia Miller won this year's prize of a gift card, as well as a trophy donated by another church favorite Paula Beauty.  This year's chili cook-off can be marked as a success.
