Although there are numerous fashion trends that are popular right now, there are plenty of growing trends that are not as fashionable.
Black and Brown
To be blunt, the colors black and brown do not match. Typically, teachers will wear black and brown together on mix-match days, which indicates that the colors do not match. When planning an outfit, one should stick to strictly wearing all brown clothes or all black clothes.
Patterns
Plaid, stripes, tweed, polka-dots, floral or flannels are patterns that should not be mixed and matched with each other. A growing trend is pairing different patterns with each other thanks to the out-there outfits walked on the runway or showcased by celebrities, such as a floral shirt with a striped skirt. But contrary to runway models, those dressing for everyday life should avoid trying to create outfits with opposing patterns, simply because they are classified as different patterns for a reason and do not match.
Khaki Joggers
Recently, wearing joggers has become a new fashion statement for guys, but guys should be cautious to limit wearing them or avoid wearing them completely. Wearing black sweatpant-like joggers with a sweatshirt and sneakers is more acceptable than wearing khaki joggers. Rather than wearing khaki pants, typically thought to be sophisticated and dressy, guys are opting to wear khaki joggers. But khaki joggers are not as flattering as typical straight-legged khakis due to their tapered leg and cinched ankles, making them a what not to wear item.
