Definition

A snow day is that blessed day that school is canceled and all your tests and and homework assignment ar posponed to the next  day giving you an extra day to study. When we hear that phone ring we drop everything and make plans for the next day to be the most preductive person in the world and finish our essays that aren't due for another week, clean our rooms and do everything else our mother has been nagging us to do for the past two weeks. But, in reality tomorrow comes and we lie in bed avoiding our parents so they dont ask us to shovel the driveway and continue to bingewatch whatever show we are watching on netflix. Then a week later we start our essays and labs the night before they're due as we contemplate our lives thinking back to that snow day when we did nothing.

And that sums up a snow day.
