Congratulations to Newfield High School Artist Dom Mauri!  Dom’s artwork was selected for the highly competitive “Long Island’s Best Young Artists” Juried Exhibition at the Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington.  Dom, who is a 9th grader at Newfield High School, was honored  at the Awards Ceremony at the Heckscher Museum this past Saturday evening.  
This year the Museum received over 385 entries from 63 schools across Nassau and Suffolk Counties with 80 works chosen for display.

Congratulations again to Dom Mauri on this outstanding achievement and to his art teacher Patti Kern!
