DECA students participated in the annual regional conference at Suffolk Community College on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. DECA’s 58 competitive events effectively measure the student’s proficiency in the knowledge and skills identified by occupational practitioners as essential to success in a given career. Students are given a description of a specific situation that measures skills, knowledge and attitudes which make DECA members stand apart from other students when it comes time to apply for college or jobs.
