The Staunton Christmas Parade is a yearly event made for the purpose of celebrating the popular holiday tradition.  Featuring seasonal favorites and fun galore, one part of the parade everyone enjoys is the four marching bands participating: Wilson, Riverheads, Fort Defiance, and Lees own Marching Leemen. The bands play vibrant and very well-known songs to spread Christmas cheer to all to celebrate. The floats provide visual entertainment for the children screaming with joy. 

I think most of the citizens of Staunton and others  in surrounding cities can agree that this parade,  despite having to experience the freezing weather, can be one of the most wonderful times of the year.
