Mark Benjamin was working an extended 9-to-5 in New York City’s Financial District for one of the nation’s most powerful insurance companies, when finally, after nearly a decade of office life, the cubicles and spreadsheets became too much for his inner creative to bear. A lifelong fan of comedy and a writer himself, Benjamin chose passion over Powerpoint, left the boardroom and stepped on stage as a stand-up.
