Fantasy Football Update #4

This is fantasy football update #4, and like before, mostly all my teams did very well, except for my money league team.

To say that my money league team, DN, had a rough week was a highly accurate statement. DN, who was 7-1 and in sole first place of the league, was going up against Measured Ingrams, who was right in the middle of the pack at 3-4. Before the matchup even started, Measured Ingrams lost their starting quarterback, Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans, to a season-ending injury when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in practice. So, going into the matchup, I was already feeling pretty confident. When the games started happening, it’s not like my whole team did bad. Todd Gurley of the Los Angeles Rams, my star running back, had 23.2 fantasy points after having 59 yards rushing and two touchdowns. However, duds from wide receiver Will Fuller of the Houston Texans (4.2) and and the Buffalo Bills defense (0) gave way to my demise as DN lost 104.6-100.4 to drop to 7-2 and tied for first place in the league.

However, outside of that loss, the rest of my teams did very well. My trophy league team VJ pulled out the W 102-81, and Just Gonna Send won 110.7-99.6 as well. Finally, my Yahoo-league team “Brady and His Disciples” (which is kind of ironic because Tom Brady didn’t play for me) won 94.88-84.72. Once again, just 1 win away from another very successful week in fantasy football for TJ.
