The Egg Harbor Township School District district holds many activities and fundraisers to support its schools. Have you ever wondered how our schools get the money? The Egg Harbor Township Education Foundation is an organization that provides excellence in our schools on a tax-deductible basis. Its overall goal is to supplement programs and services in the schools and provide scholarships to students. To complete these goals, however, they will do many fundraisers such as the annual 5k Run and Walk.

The Foundation also awards Mini-Grants, which are creative programs to bring fun to our schools. Some of their Mini-Grants are the Geography Fair that took place in Miller School, Electronic Engineering in Alder and Fernwood and the upcoming Multi-media Mash in the High School. The grants provide money to help the programs grow and better them in future years to come.

If you are interested in helping out, you can make a donation, participate in any upcoming fundraising events, and give monetary gifts. For more information, you can visit the Foundation’s website at eggharbortownshipeducationfoundation.org.
