My Senior Reflection

Throughout my four years of high school, I realized something: It is nothing like High School Musical

I always regarded high school as a magical place where everyone was happy and all were like one family.

Yeah, that was a rude awakening. What I did realize though is that just because high school was not as glamorous as I always dreamed, it was still a worthwhile experience. I mean, I could have had a much better time without math (sorry, math teachers), but all in all, I pushed through and learned how to learn independently.

In English class, despite the numerous essays I've written, I have learned a lot about myself and how to analyze literature. In history, I learned plenty about the past and how it correlates with many current events. As for science, I learned so many interesting facts about the world.

Additionally, I have made memorable friendships and have had plenty of moments filled with laughter as I walked the halls of Freedom High School. From events such as Mini-THON to the Friday football games, I have had a great time at every single event I went to, and anybody could say how close we all became as a class.

Now, I won't lie; there were times when I just wanted to scream and yell, I wanna transfer! Most of the time, however, I was happy to be here. As the days are winding down and I will soon not walk these halls, I want to thank Freedom High School for its hand in guiding me into the person I am today.

My name is Kiara Conway and I am 18 years old. I live in Bethlehem PA and I have lived here for 10 years. I am originally from Union, New Jersey. I enjoy writing, singing, and reading in my free time.
