Attention Ski & Snowboard Club:  Our first ski trip is tomorrow, Thursday, Jan. 9.  Do a dance for more snow today!   You may store your equipment across from the boys locker room.  Ms. Brimhall will be there between 7:00-7:25.  After 7:25 – you’ll have  to figure out where to put your stuff.  When the bell rings at 2:35, grab your gear and head to the bus outside the gym.  We leave promptly at 2:50.  Remember that helmets are required to ski or board.

The yearbook staff would like to remind seniors that the due date for parent patrons is this Friday.  Parent Patrons are those spaces towards the back of the yearbooks where parents can have special messages and photos printed for you.  If your parents plan to submit a personalized message for the yearbook, please remind them to turn that in soon.  Information and extra forms can be found on the senior webpage or in the senior Schoology group.  Thank you!

The Cloister FFA is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of several of our members at the PA Farm Show and 91st FFA Mid-Winter Convention on Monday.

Senior Maxine Bodnari placed 1st in the Food Systems division of Agriscience Fair for her research on cheese produced using A2 & A1/A2 milk.

Freshmen Larissa Gettler, Natisha Gudala, Kavin Phillips, Nicolas Romaniw, and Jessica Weiss all received their very own FFA jackets courtesy of the Pennsylvania FFA Alumni Association. There were 420 jacket recipients this year.

And last, but certainly not least, seniors Clara Bollinger, Maxine Bodnari, Katelyn Sauder, and Abbie Zorrilla earned their Keystone degrees. The Keystone degree is the highest FFA degree the state can bestow on its members. They each had to earn or productively invest 300 hours or $1000 in their SAE projects. This year there were 406 Keystone degree recipients from chapters across the state.

Have a great day Ephrata!
