NOW OVER TO ____ WITH THE NEWS

--------------------------

NEWS INTRO VIDEO

------------------

In today’s news, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has officially announced an inquiry of impeachment for President Trump amid the recent “whistleblower” scandal. This marks the 5th time in American history when the President has had an impeachment inquiry filed against them. Both Democrats and Republicans hang on the edge of their seats awaiting the fully "unredacted" transcript of Trump and President Zelensky’s phone call to be released, which could incriminate the President.

On this day in history, the Bill of Rights was created. This document comprises the first ten amendments to the Constitution, and guarantee personal rights and freedoms to all American citizens. Much of the genius behind this document is credited to earlier documents such as the English Bill of Rights and the Magna Carte and founding father James Madison.
