If so, the spring supplements will be available for pickup at the attendance window or at lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Stop past and pick up your copy. The spring supplement contains all the activities and sports from spring all the way up to graduation.

Attention German NHS members.  This Monday, September 23, is our first meeting of the year. The meeting will be in Frau Nace’s room right after school and if you have a Tshirt from last year, please wear it!  If you have a scheduling conflict, please message Frau Nace or Frau Wise.  Danke!

In today’s news, Jeff Bezos has announced a new climate change plan for Amazon. He claims the company will be running on 100% renewable energy by 2030, and be carbon-neutral by 2040. This “Climate Pledge” as its being called is seemingly in response to the thousands of Amazon workers that have been calling for Amazon to reveal its real carbon footprint, which, according to Amazon),is cresting at about 44 million metric tons.

On this day in history, explorer Ferdinand Magellan left for his now legendary voyage around the globe, which took his crew nearly two years to complete. Unfortunately, Magellan died on the voyage during a scuffle with native Phillapinos, however Magellan still became the first European to cross the Pacific Ocean, and the rest of his crew became the first Europeans to circumnavigate the entire planet.

Yesterday in sports, field hockey won 4-1 vs Cedar Crest, and volleyball lost at E town.

today, boys soccer is at McCaskey, tennis is at Hempfield, girls soccer is home vs McCaskey, and football is home vs Donegal

From the Principals: Please be reminded that you should only have one ear bud in when using them. This is so others are still able to communicate with you. And yes this applies to the lunch lines. We have had too many issues lately with cafeteria staff trying to communicate with students who can’t hear them because they have both ear buds in.

If you are interested in taking the PSAT on Wednesday October 16, please come to the Guidance Office to sign up and get your student guide.  Sign ups will close at the end of day TODAY!

Attention all HS students, Are you interested in working with Elementary Students?  Sign-ups for the MOUNTS Buddy Program with Fulton Elementary students will be on 9/24, in the cafeteria, during lunch. If interested, please look for Mrs. Lyons & Ms. Davies to find out more information about this exciting program!!!

That's it for us today Ephrata. See you here again tomorrow!
