On Friday night, the East Juniata Girls Basketball team beat Juniata for the first time in eight years.  Going into the game, they knew that the game on Friday was going to be huge.  The atmosphere was perfect and it made the girls even more excited to play that evening.  The girls had the whole school behind them as they took on Juniata.   The fans from both sides were wearing white to show their support for the Coaches Vs. Cancer game.  It was a tight game the entire time, but EJ kept up the good work and was able to pull out the win.  The girls also have a very busy week next week!  On Monday they will travel to Bald Eagle, and on Tuesday they will go to Newport to play.  That following Thursday and Friday they also have games!
