After you had your face stuffed with food from that Thanksgiving feast in Fall where the leaves turn red, orange, brown, or yellow comes the season of winter where the leaves are gone completely! Like autumn, winter is also a very cold season which is why some people may not like it but doesn't stop me with liking it.

One of the reasons why I love winter is because of the snow and ice. You can play outside bundled up in the snow like make snowman, have snowball fights, make snow angels, etc. I also ski during the Winter season so having it snow is even better for me doing it! If a snowstorm is heavy enough then there might be a snow day which you could kind say is like a sneak peak ahead to summer break.

Winter is also home to the most jolly and commercially successful holiday, Christmas! Which is also my favorite holiday too due to the nice atmosphere, getting to spend time with friends and family together, getting presents, and watching Christmas movies such as classics like Home Alone, The Grinch, Elf, and The Polar Express.

So those are my reasons as to why winter is my all time yearly favorite season! Summer is a close second but the chilly season winter tops it all off!
