Vladimir Putin has officially been sworn in for his fourth term as President of Russia today. Putin was re-elected to the office after he received 76% of the vote following General Elections in March. A Russian Presidential term lasts six years, meaning that the next elections will be in March of 2024. Although the Russian election process has received international criticism from Europe and the US for clear attempts by one party or another to tamper and alter the vote, the election results are standing and Putin is serving his fourth term.
