NHS Field Trip Preview

The NHS Students of East Juniata are looking forward to the end of the school year just like every other student that goes to school. It isn’t the only thing NHS is looking forward to, though. On May 30, the NHS of East Juniata is going on a field trip to the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia.

Due to it being canceled in March, all the student are on the edge of their seats excited and ready to go. The first event they'll go to is the Mutter Museum. The Mutter Museum contains a collection of “medical oddities, anatomical and pathological specimens, wax models, and antique medical equipment. It’s even one of the only two places where you can see pieces of Albert Einstein’s brain! I believe it will be a fascinating and maybe even gory experience.

The second event the students will go to is the Philly Zoo. This zoo is home to more than 1300 animals, many of them rare and endangered, not to mention the 42-acre Victorian garden the animals are kept in.

The students can’t wait to see what these two events hold for them, and I guarantee pictures from cute little animals to displays of skulls will be posted all over their social medias. Have a safe, fun trip, guys!
