Last night, March 26th, the East Juniata Track Team went to Mount Union. The girls team won while the boys team lost overall. But what was really impressive was how the first time hurdlers of East Juniata finished. With their first hurdle races of their young careers, Bree Henry, Rebecca Book, and Tanner Martin all had very successful runs over both the 110/100 meter high hurdles and the 300 meter low hurdles. Bree Henry came in first for both hurdle races, while Rebecca Book came in second and third in the hurdle races which is very respectable for only having minimal practices of actually going over the hurdles. Tanner also had very impressive runs, placing second and third in a tough field of hurdlers. All of the hurdlers should be very proud of the way they performed when the time came and should be congratulated for their accomplishments!
