In my English class we read the famous book “Of Mice and Men” by John Steinbeck. After completing this book we watched the 1939 black and white film of “Of Mice and Men” and then we followed that movie with the 1992 colored version. Both of these movies were very close to the book, but the 1992 version had less differences than the 1939 film. I liked the black and white film characters better than the newer version because they seemed to fit the book better. I’m not an avid reader, but I recommend this book and these movies. It teaches you how vital friendships are, and that dreams don’t always come true.
