On February 15 and 16, 7 kids of various grades between 10-12 participated in Penn State Harrisburg’s 46th annual Model UN conference. On Thursday they went to Broad Street, where they gathered and discussed in the Harrisburg library what to expect and what to do. They were then taken to eat at a building with multiple cultural eateries (I personally ate Korean dumplings!). They then went to a general conference and were introduced to various school kids who were also attending the conference and chairpersons. The students were then separated, where they went their own departments to begin debate and discussion on the issues of the world. Acting as a Model United Nations! This was a two day conference and was long and difficult! But we persevered and had a great time!
