Stroudsburg Pink Out

 Author: Timera T

On Friday September 30, 2016 Stroudsburg High School hosted a Pink Out Day, in honor of the upcoming month October; which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In order to participate, students paid one dollar to dress in pink attire to show support of those affected by Breast Cancer. The amazing students of Stroudsburg High School who participated in Pink Out Day helped raised an outstanding amount of $1,352.00! All proceeds were donated to the Dale & Frances Hughes Cancer Center located in East Stroudsburg, PA.  The Hughes Cancer Center is a treatment and research facility that has been actively helping patients fight cancer since 2000. It is always amazing to know that there are people who truly care to help join the fight to end cancer. Great Job Stroudsburg High School!
