On October 24 thru October 28, eight students from East Juniata High School took a bus to Indianapolis, Indiana for the National FFA Convention. Jacob Kinzer proudly represented not just the East Juniata Chapter, but the entire state of Pennsylvania, by competing in the Extemporaneous Speech. The students participated in workshops, sessions, and the Expo. The sessions were held in the Bankers Life Fieldhouse, where the Indianapolis Pacers play their home games. Highlights of the trip included attending a Rascal Flatts Concert at the Lucas Oil Stadium, the home of the Indianapolis Colts. The students and their advisor, Mr. McLaughlin also visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. There the students learned about the history of the Speedway.
