On Tuesday, April 4, The Friends of Rachel will be hosting an afternoon of games after school in the Media Center. Come join us from 3:00 – 4:00. There will be card and board games provided by the Media Center, and you are welcomed to bring your own games, too. If you have any questions, please stop by Mrs. Hall’s room 121, or send Mrs. Hall a Schoology message. We hope to see you there!

Underclassmen, please take a few minutes to review your course requests for next year by logging in to your PowerSchool portal.  You can access requests by clicking on the “Class Registration” item under the Navigation menu on the left (where you selected your courses).  If everything looks good, you are done.  If you would like to change a non-teacher recommended course, just have your parent message your counselor with the course(s) that you would like to add and/or drop.  If you would like to switch a teacher recommended course, be sure to complete a yellow Teacher Recommendation Change form – available from the Counseling Office or the Counseling Office webpage.
All change requests need to be made by March 31st.  If you have questions, reach out to your counselor asap.

This years Junior vs Senior Powder Puff game is happening May 10th at the War Memorial Field.  Sign ups for junior and senior girls are in Mr. Marzock’s room 137.  Stop down any time to sign up.  You will need a physical to play unless you have already played a school spirit during the 2022-2023 school year.  This year, the senior ladies will have Mr. Ullrich at the helm and the Juniors will have Mr. Smith who’s all business!!! Sign ups are this week for a limited time with practicing beginning the first week of April running until game day.  After sign ups, we will have a meeting after school to o over specific practice days, times , and expectations lined up by your coaches. But for now, if you’re interested, sign up!
If you are interested in running for representative of Student Council for the 2023-2024 school year, please fill out the attached petition with 30 signatures of students in YOUR GRADE ONLY! You will also need a teacher letter of recommendation.  We take the top 6 students from each grade to be members of Student Council each year.  Petitions and teacher recommendations are due FRIDAY APRIL 14th! Voting will happen the following week.  If you have any questions, please stop down to see Mr. Marzock in room 137.
Has one of your senior friends been grinding your gears all year long? Do you have an older sibling that’s been taunting you for years? A student that you just can’t wait to see graduate? Underclassmen and staff: now is YOUR time to LOVINGLY get back at our seniors. Pick on a Senior Day will take place on Friday, April 14th, where consenting seniors are in for a day of friendly humiliation. Anyone wishing to “pick on a senior” can enter their name  for free into the google form on Schoology or the QR Code on the flyer hanging around the school. There will then be a drawing for each senior LIVE on Ephrata AM. Students may enter their name for multiple seniors, but cannot have their name entered more than once per senior. Seniors, you are not permitted to pick on other seniors. That’s just called bullying. Once a student has been drawn for each senior, they will get run their silly shenanigan past student council for approval. Common ideas include silly costumes and having the senior carry your stuff from class to class. It is meant to be a fun day for all and a great way to make lasting memories as our time with the Class of ’23 comes to an end!
