Sign up to take the ASVAB today! If you are in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and need some help making career decisions, then consider taking the ASVAB. The ASVAB is designed to help you learn more about yourself and the world of work, explore occupational skills in line with your interests and skills, and develop a strategy to realize your career goals. This free assessment is offered at EHS on Thursday, October 20th and there is absolutely no military commitment by taking the test. You can find the sign up link in Schoology as well as on the Counseling webpage.

This announcement is for all 9th Graders: Individual 9th Grade Transition meetings with your counselor begin on Monday, October 17th. Meetings are 10 minutes each and will focus on; a discussion about 1st semester classes, a reflection on your transition to EHS, as well as a conversation about possible future career directions. Please go the EHS Counseling website to sign up for a time slot for your meeting. You can also get there by using the link for the signup page found on your Schoology newsfeed as well. Be sure to select a date and time that works best for your schedule – if you have a study hall, that would be the ideal period for this meeting.
Now is the perfect time to open your laptop and sign up for a time slot for your meeting – don’t delay!

Yesterday, boys soccer won 5-0 at Cedar Crest and girls soccer won 2-0 vs Solanco with goals from Emily Weidner and Kiersten Doutt.

Attention Bowlers, anyone interested in joining the high school bowling team, Coach DeWald has arranged to have open gym time at Dutch Lanes. Open gym will be held on Tuesday’s & Thursday’s, Oct 18th until Nov 15th from 3:30 pm – 5 pm. There is a small fee for the use of the lanes. For more information contact Coach DeWald.
