Juniors and seniors, the time is coming up to purchase your prom tickets! Tickets are $65 each. Prom ticket sales will take place in room 116 next to the guidance office after school TOMORROW, Wednesday, April 13th, and then Tuesday, April 19th, and Thursday, April 21st. There will also be ticket sales in the morning starting at 730am - to 8 am on Thursday, April 21st for CTC students. Please make sure that all obligations are taken care of and paid. Make sure to come with an ID, correct forms if you are bringing a guest, check, or cash, and with your whole party or group you plan on sitting with. There are 8 people at a table. You can pick up the forms and information sheet outside the Elab.

The mere motions of breathing are known to influence vital functions of the lungs, including the maintenance of healthy tissue.
it generates immune responses against invading viruses, such as COVID-19.
Using a ‘Human Lung Chip’ that replicates the structures and functions of the lung air sac,  they discovered that by applying mechanical forces that mimic breathing motions, they could suppress influenza virus replication, while activating innate protective immune responses.

Attention Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors!  If you are interested in running for class officer for your class petitions are now available.  They are due back on 4/22.  Juniors see Mr. Geyer in Room 129,   Sophomores see Mrs. Petri in Room 215(E-lab) and Freshmen see Mr. Shortuse in Room 109.

yesterday, baseball started with a strong offense out of the gate vs Cedar Crest. Coy Schwanger hit a solo homerun on the first pitch and the Mounts never looked back with a 9-1 win. Tanner McCracken notched the win going into the 5th inning. Tennis won 7-0 vs Garden Spot. In volleyball action at Reading the Mounts took the first 2 games easily, lost the 3rd, but rebounded in the 4th for a 3-1 win. After dropping 3 runs and falling into a 5-2 deficit, the Lady Mounts Softball team scored 5 runs in the 6th inning winning 7-5 vs Cedar Crest. Ellie Meier took the win and struck out 4.
