If you are in 11th or 12th grade and interested in the arts (music/video industry), engineering, manufacturing, finance, or marketing, ROCK LITITZ has the most AWESOME event for you!!  Plan to attend this hand-on exploration activity where technology meets art at this live event industry day on April 28th.  Rock Lititz is a one-of-a-kind production community that supports innovative creativity within the live event industry. With resources ranging from design, engineering, and manufacturing through rehearsals, and beyond, Rock Lititz is a one-stop-shop to collaborate on any live experience.  This is a great activity to help you decide if any of the careers that support live events are for you.  Be sure to check out the link in Schoology and complete the online survey link ASAP if you are interested.

The Ephrata National Bank scholarship application is now open for seniors!  Log in to epnb.com to apply for the Hibshman, Brossman, Mellinger, and Wolf scholarships.  Remember to submit your application and any supporting documentation by the due date of March 31st.  See the counseling office with any questions.

Attention Juniors: Thaddeus Stevens college will be hosting a College Fair on Tuesday March 15th.  This fair attracts approximately 100 different colleges, universities, and trade school representatives.  This is a great opportunity for 11th graders to interact with and learn about different colleges, which was a main focus of recent Junior Transition meetings.
 
Space is limited, so if you are interested, please print out a field trip permission packet from Schoology or pick one up from the Counseling Office and return it asap.

yesterday, at the girls bowling championships, Braelyn Huff placed 12th, Leah Kreider placed 18th, and Juliette Donnelly placed 23rd. Congratulations on a great season ladies!
 
Attention EHS atheletes, Your Elementary school is looking for your help.  This year they would like you to help with Read Across America during the School day the week of February 28th thru March 3rd.  You can bring your favorite book to read or the Elementary Principal will have extra books for you to use.
 
Stop by the Athletic office to sign up for a time by February 23 rd
 
today, the winter track team is at Kutztown for their final meet of the season.
 
and tonight, the Mounts basketball team will travel to the Finals against Lancaster Catholic. Action starts at 7pm in the Manheim Twp gym!

This announcement is for any student who is interested in learning more about the US Service Academies; you are invited to attend Service Academy Night which will be hosted by Congressman Lloyd Smucker on Friday, February 25th 2022 at Penn Manor High School from 6:30-8:30PM.  Academy Night will include information about:
 
    The difference between attending an academy and ROTC.
    The value of attending a summer program at an Academy.
    The ‘ideal’ candidate for an academy.
    Determining the difference between a nomination and an appointment.
 
You’ll also be able to check out options available through the US Service Academies; West Point, Naval, Air Force, Merchant Marine and Coast Guard) and ROTC programs.
 
Each of the Service Academies offers an incredible FREE college education worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.  For more details, check your Schoology Class of group.  It is especially important to start this process early – Freshmen and sophomores should attend if they have any interest in one of these post-secondary options.
