Sign up to take the ASVAB today! If you are in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and need some help making career decisions, then consider taking the ASVAB. The ASVAB is designed to help you learn more about yourself and the world of work, explore occupational skills in line with your interests and skills, and develop a strategy to realize your career goals. This free assessment is offered at EHS on Thursday, November 4th, and there is absolutely no military commitment by taking the test. Friday, Football had a strong 4th quarter at homecoming vs Lancaster Catholic and won 29-21. Sam McCracken threw for 2 touchdowns and Andre Weidman ran for 232yards and also passed the 1000 yard mark for the season so far. Anthony Stidham and Jeremiah Knowles each caught touchdowns for the Mounts win. Saturday, boys soccer won 2-0 vs Carlisle. Both goals were scored by Luke Wingenroth. Girls soccer lost 3-0 vs Carlisle, field hockey won 1-0 vs Garden Spot. Holding a no-score tie but pressuring the entire game, Claudia Pfautz finally scored in the 4th quarter. Yesterday, the boys soccer team avenged their previous loss to Manheim Central with a 2-1 win. Girls soccer ??

The Juniors will be coached by the one, the only Mr. Ullrich A.K.A. The Retirement Maker!!! Why the Retirement Maker you ask? Well because anyone who has every coached against him as either left Ephrata or retired!!!!
The Seniors will be coached by a new homegrown talent of Mr. Helock whose roots run deep here at Ephrata. He’s gritty, tough, and knows how to get the job done!
However, please listen carefully. If you are a senior or junior girl interested in powder puff, you will need to have a PIAA physical. Now, if you’ve already played a Fall sport THIS CURRENT school year, you’ve probably already had a physical and will be ok. However, if you have yet to play a physical this school year, you will need one in order to participate at all.
Stop down at the athletic office for physical form ASAP.

Did you miss not getting your picture taken? Do your parents not like this year’s picture?
If you have any questions, See Mrs. Cummings in the athletic office.
Picture retake day will be Thursday, Oct 14th starting @ 12:30 pm. If you missed the first round and your parents would like to buy pictures, stop by the athletic office to pick up picture day forms. If you want your pictures retaken, you will need to bring along your complete picture packet back and turn those in to get your picture retaken.
