This announcement is for all freshmen: Individual Freshmen Transition meetings with your counselor begin on Monday, October 18th. Meetings are 10 minutes each and will focus on; a discussion about 1st semester classes, a reflection on your transition to EHS, as well as a conversation about possible future career directions. Please go the EHS Counseling website to sign up for a time slot for your meeting. You can also get there by using the link for the signup page found on your Schoology newsfeed as well. Be sure to select a date and time that works best for your schedule – if you have a study hall, that would be the ideal period for this meeting.
Right after Ephrata AM is the perfect time to open your laptop and sign up for a time slot for your meeting – don’t delay!

Sign up to take the ASVAB today! If you are in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and need some help making career decisions, then consider taking the ASVAB. The ASVAB is designed to help you learn more about yourself and the world of work, explore occupational skills in line with your interests and skills, and develop a strategy to realize your career goals. This free assessment is offered at EHS on Thursday, November 4th, and there is absolutely no military commitment by taking the test. You can find the sign up link in Schoology as well as on the Counseling webpage.

Class of 2024 Future Leaders - You have the opportunity to be selected to attend the HOBY Youth State Leadership Seminar this coming May which focuses on exploring leadership potential. TWO 10th grade students will represent Ephrata High School this spring. If you are interested in this leadership opportunity, please complete the 2021-2022 SURVEY which can be found in the Schoology Class of 2024 group by the end of the day on Friday 10/8. There is a link in that post to help you discover more about HOBY Youth Leadership if you are interested.

Yesterday, boys cross country lost vs McCaskey. Top runner was tristan Hart with a 18:54. The girls also lost; Madison Kimmel came in 3rd with a 20:47.
Today, boys soccer is home vs Garden Spot, field hockey is at E town, and girls soccer is at Garden Spot.

Spirit Week is THIS WEEK!
Today is Celebrity/ Character Day.
Tomorrow is Generations Day: 9th graders dress like babies, 10th graders dress like kids, 11th graders dress like parents/ adults, and 12th graders dress like senior citizens
Friday is Ephrata Pride Day! Show your school spirit and come out to the game!!!

Homecoming ticket Sales will continue through each and every lunch until Friday OCTOBER 8th.
Tickets will be $10 before AND $15 at the door.
With the dance being outside at the War this year, the snack bar will be open. Here is a list of just a few things that will be available the night of the dance.
The Food is not free but is the same price as it always is at each football game. So don't forget to bring some extra cash to hit up the snack bar at the dance this year!
