NEWS INTRO

-------------------------

In today's news, the FDA on Monday approved the Pfizer vaccine for kids ages 12 to 15 — paving the way for teens to begin getting the shots as early as this week. The FDA announced its intention to open up the vaccines to adolescents last week, to allow millions of younger Americans to be vaccinated. A CDC vaccine advisory team will still need to give the go ahead for it but that could come as soon as Wednesday. This approval doesn't come without controversy. With the US still struggling to vaccinate more adults, some people are questioning whether giving it to a low risk group is a good idea.
