Students are reminded that Thursday, January 28th is the last day to drop a course without receiving a WF (withdrew failing) mark.  If you would like to drop a course, you need to have a parent email your counselor asap with the request and details.  A listing of open classes is updated daily and is available on the EHS Counseling website as well.

If you have any questions, please see your counselor ASAP.

------------------------

This is a reminder to all 11th grade students that individual Junior Transition Meetings begin today.    During this meeting, you and your counselor will have an opportunity to discuss academics, careers, and post-secondary exploration.  Meetings are 10 minutes each, and you will receive a pass on the morning of you meeting from your first period teacher.  Don’t forget to touch base with your teacher at the beginning of the period on the day of your meeting in order to minimize class disruptions.

If you are an online/hybrid student, you will be sent a Microsoft TEAMS calendar invite for the meeting.

And now over to ____________ with the news

NEWS INTRO

-------------------------

In today's news, the United states hasn't hit anywhere near their target for covid 19 vaccinations. The two vaccines approved for use in the US, Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech, have to be stored at ultra-cold temperatures, which has caused distribution difficulties. However, President Biden plans to boost the rollout of the vaccine. It has been "a dismal failure thus far," the president said, and he's committed to overseeing 100 million vaccine doses administered in his first 100 days.
