Attention Ski & Snowboard Club:  Our first trip is Thursday and the runs are looking good at Bear Creek this week.  $10 and ALL paperwork is due today.  Return to Brimhall or Shortuse.

Attention all 11th graders:  You can continue to sign up for a time slot for your individual transition meeting with your counselor.  These meetings begin on January 25th and signup information can be found on the EHS Counseling Department website.  Sign up for a slot as soon as possible, and be sure to pick a date and time that works best with your schedule.  If you have a study hall, you will definitely want to choose that period.  If you have any questions, please stop by the Counseling Office.

In today's news, the FBI has warned of possible armed protests being held across the US as Trump supporters and far-right groups call for demonstrations before Joe Biden is sworn in as president. The security for the inauguration will be tight following the events that happen at the capitol. House Democrats say a vote to impeach the president will happen on Wednesday. They accuse Trump of "incitement of insurrection" and say the vote will be held unless Vice-President Mike Pence uses constitutional powers to remove Mr Trump from office.

 yesterday, boys basketball lost 48-55 vs Lebanon. Mason Campbell was the leading scorer with 14 pts. On the girls side, the Lady Mounts came out with a 55-46 win.  Olivia Fedorshak contributed 15 and Cara Teisi added 3 three pointers to the tally. Today bowling is at Dutch Lanes vs E town, Rifle vs Manheim Twp, and Wrestling is away at Manheim Central.

The Mountaineer Media Center Café is NOW open daily for Breakfast and during the 2nd half of each Lunch period.  Serving Hot breakfast sandwiches in the morning, and a variety of other breakfast meal choices…. Including Freshly baked glazed Donuts and Cinnamon Rolls and even poptarts.  During the lunch periods we are serving a variety of drinks and simple snacks, including Kickstarts, Fresh baked cookies, Chips, Fruit snacks, rice krispie treats and other goodies.  Stop in quick for your morning meal and your afternoon “pick- me- up” snacks.  If you have any questions feel free to ask any of our Cheerful Cafeteria staff and they will be happy to help you!
