Paul Dedrick Gray was the bassist from the heavy metal band Slipknot. Paul died in 2010 in his hotel room because of an overdose. In his remembrance, the band dedicated their 2014 album to Paul. His death left them in a state of "quiet numbness" and started one of the darkest periods in their career. A lot of people see Slipknot’s hideous masks and boilersuits and hear their aggresive music and label them as Satanic noise. My goal in making this video is to show everyone who didn’t know already that the band is based in a brotherly love that the members share. I dedicate this video to Paul Gray, Corey Taylor, Joey Jordison, Jim Root, Mick Thomson, Sid Wilson, Craig Jones, Shawn "Clown" Crahan, and Chris Fehn. Maybe in remembering Paul's legacy I can change a couple people's minds about the band. They're not evil, they're not degenerates, they're not junkies. They're brothers.
