Student Take the World by Storm over Climate Change

Over 4 million people took part in the Global Climate strike on September 20th. Many students were  inspired by 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg and marched in what might be  largest mass protest for action on global warming in history. There were over 2,500 events scheduled in over 163 countries on all seven continents.

Young people who may live to see a radically different world in the coming century are concerned about their future. Especially about the warnings of scientists of devastating warming by accelerating decarbonization.

The United Nations Climate Summit kicked off today in New York. Learn more here.
