Ben Hrubes made the Vinyl Record Backpack in Fashion Arts at Montour High School. The techniques used was hand sewing. He also used the sewing machine. Ben has  seen a record purse on Pinterest but it didn’t go  into detail on how it was made so he had to do everything by himself. Ben gathered materials needed for the project and then  got the  wood burner and burnt holes into the records. He  cut out the fabric and then used strong adhesive glue to glue on the fabric to the records. After that, Ben hemmed the middle part of the bag by using a sewing machine and then put the pieces together and used embroidery string to keep the whole thing together. With the embroidery string Ben made x’s onto the bag so it would look fancier. Ben wanted to make a record backpack since he is extremely into vintage stuff.
