Humor

Humor, without it the world would be a bland place where nobody ever felt happy or ever laughed.  Laughter can be the best cure to anger and sadness. Have you ever been bored and have nothing to do but then you become amused by what someone else says or what's on a tv, that is what humor is. Those times where the smallest thing happens and you smile or smirk, that is humor.  Humor is what makes everything good. Without humor it would be like there was no sun and everyday was just cloudy and dark. The definition of humor is the quality of being amusing or comic, especially as expressed in literature or speech. If you break that down it means happy.

A part of humor is the memories it brings.  You always remember the humorous things and not the bad things.  You will always remember the fun you had at your lunch table and all the things that were said that humored you.  The times when you are a vacation and there are fireworks all around you and your smiling. The little things that you remember can bring you humor.  Have you ever seen a really good movie without a little humor. You see it everywhere you go. Humor is needed in the world. Everybody needs a sense of humor.  

Around the world people are in terrible situations but what keeps people going is humor.  Humor brings people together. What humor means to me is all the funny times in my life. The time when I was on a boat in the Dominican Republic and the guys who were woking the boat ran out of music to play so they had me play music and made everybody on the boat dance.  The times where my family makes fun of my dad for the way that he gets up in the morning. He gets up at 4 because he has to go to work and he bumps into everything and when he wakes up late he freaks out and is running all around the house. Humor is all the times I have been with friends and we have done random stuff that is just funny. Everybody has different things that humor them.  For some people just sitting down and doing nothing hurmors them. Humor means different things to everybody. Kids can find humor in getting in trouble. Humor can mean bad things for some people.

My definition of humor and the actually definition for humor are not very different the actually definition for humor is the quality of being amusing or comic.  My definition for humor is anything that makes you smile or laugh. Sometimes just laughing or finding something humorous can turn you entire day around. Different things will humor different people but having a sense is what is great.  Don't be a downer and never find anything amusing. Maybe you will find some humor in this essay
