This is a project of an owl that I have been working on in drawing and painting 2 at Montour High School. I have been working on this piece for about 3 weeks now. This project was done in oil pastel. Oil pastels are very difficult to work with and there are a lot of techniques that you need to focus on in order to make sure that your piece doesn't smear together. I have also been very intrigued with owls and the uniqueness of them so I decided to create this project based off of a picture that I took of an owl.
