France has take the World Cup for the second time. In an exciting finals match against Croatia, France proved "Les Bleus" worth with the 4-2 victory. France led throughout the entire match as it's youngest player, Kylian Mbappe,19, secured his status as a newest superstar in soccer's world stage.

London Protests Trump

The site of a giant orange balloon representation of Donald Trump was front and center as tens of thousands of protesters took over the streets of London and Edinburgh to protest the visit of the US president to the United Kingdom. The anti-Trump sentiment carried over into the meeting with EU leaders as many dignitaries made clear their disagreement with Trump over issues of tariffs and the US participation in NATO. Trump fired back over twitter blaming the EU for taking advantage of the US for years. Which leads to the next story...

Putin and Trump Meet in Helsinki 

President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin met in Helsinki today. The historic summit took place behind closed doors as the two world leaders jostled for dominance by refusing to show up on time for the meeting. 

Tweeting before the meeting, Trump blamed the "U.S. foolishness and stupidity" for the past bad relations between the US and Russia.

Right before the meeting began, Trump told reporters, "I really think the world wants to see us get along. I think we have great opportunities together as two countries that frankly we have not been getting along very well for the last number of years."
