Graphic Design For Good

Ridley students taking Graphic Design II courses used their design skills this October to create advertising graphics for food drive collection boxes that will be placed at local grocery stores and restaurants. Students collaborated with their peers, working in small groups to brainstorm and discuss the best solutions before using their knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create their designs. After several rounds of discussion and revision, Coach Bryant McCombs from Ridley's girls' basketball team selected the winning designs. The basketball team will collect the donated items in January as a Martin Luther King Day of Service community effort.

All donations will benefit the Delaware County Loaves and Fishes Pantry which helps over 1,150 families, primarily in the Interboro and Ridley School Districts.
