Deadly Shooting in Vegas

At least 50 people were killed and 400 people were injured in what is being called the deadliest mass shooting in US history. The horror unfolded during a country music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday night. Concertgoers ran and screamed in panic as automatic gunfire rained down on the audience. Many people were trampled and shot trying to find places to take cover.

Police identified the shooter as Stephan Paddock, a local man with no criminal record and no connection to any terrorist or militant group. Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo told reporters that Paddock shot himself right before police had begun to enter the hotel room he was firing from.

Police have no motive for the shooting at this time, but police found more than 10 rifles in the room where Paddock killed himself.
