Which Is the BEST Harry Potter Story? By Leah Beresheim

I bet you’ve heard of the book series called Harry Potter. If you haven’t, it is basically a very popular book series that originated in England. The Harry Potter series as a whole is about a young boy named Harry Potter and his adventures as he attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, learns how to perform magic, and comes face to face with his archenemy, Lord Voldemort who murdered Harry’s parents when he was just an infant. Many people have a different preference for which book from the series they like the best. They all illustrate different stories and experiences that Harry goes through. There are a total of 7 books in the series. There are also 8 movies that were made later on after the book series was published. There are 8 movies because the last story (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) was split into two parts.

My favorite book from the series is entitled Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. It is about Harry when he is in his third year at Hogwarts. Along with his two friends, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger, Harry investigates Sirius Black, a prisoner who escaped from Azkaban, the wizard prison, believed to be one of Lord Voldemort’s old allies. This book, in particular, is my favorite book out of the whole series because it’s funny when it needs to be and serious when it needs to be. Also, all of the events add to the plot in some way. Indeed, Harry has a great deal of maturity in this novel but it isn't overbearing.

I believe that this story is different from all of the others because this story is the main turning point of the series where things get darker and I really enjoyed the plot twist at the end. I also love this story because of Remus Lupin and Sirius Black; they are some of my favorite characters. Additionally, I like the concept of the time turner because Hermione was able to repeat classes with it and she was able to rescue Sirius and Buckbeak. Overall, in my opinion, this book is my favorite from the entire series. I highly recommend reading the series if you haven’t already. If you have read the series before, what is your favorite book?
