Do you ever feel as though your words cannot be heard?

You will say them.

Scream them.

But still they will not penetrate when they need it to most.

You can try to make promises.

To make people “Swear on their life”

To make people guarantee that they are ready to become the better person.

But do they really mean it? Can they keep it?

Empty words.

They say they understand.

They say they're sorry.

They say they will change.

But will they not then soon ignore all you have said and do it again.

I, many times, feel as though I am not heard.

No matter how much heart I put into them.

No matter how much energy,

No matter how much hope,

No matter how much truth,

The deafness of those unwilling to listen are the reason my words will never be heard.

But I guess those who won’t listen, will never learn, and their will be no one to blame but themselves.
