Today the Mounts School Store will be open for the first time!! Come and check out the clothing available.  Make sure you have a pass when you come to check out the clothing during a class period. The store will be open from the start of 1st period to the end of the 7th. ------------------------

Reminder to Ski & Snowboard Club:  You have paperwork and a final $20 deposit due to Ms. Brimhall.  No paperwork and no deposit means you do NOT get on the bus and  you do NOT ski.  Please get this in as soon as possible.  Do your snow dances over winter break!!!!!!

yesterday boys basketball lost 57-26 vs Cedar Crest, and Girls basketball lost a close one 39-41 at Cedar Crest. Gabbie Gerola Hill and Jasmine Griffin both had 10 points on the night.

Unified Track and Field will be hosting a parent/athlete meeting January 16th from 5-6pm at the HS. Unified Track and Field is looking for all athletes from varying ability levels. If you have additional questions please reach out to Coach Holmes from the intermediate school.

The Ephrata High School Theatre Program announces auditions for its upcoming spring production “The Wizard of Oz.”

Auditions for “The Wizard of Oz” will be held on Monday, January 6th and Tuesday, January 7th at 3:30pm, with select call-backs on Wednesday, January 8th in the auditorium.

“The Wizard of Oz” now celebrating 80 years of magic; a beloved tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home. Journey along as Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto travel the universe of Dorothy’s imagination. Enjoy the songs made famous in the classic MGM film, including “Over the Rainbow,” “Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead,” “If I Only Had a Brain,” “We’re Off to See the Wizard” and “Follow the Yellow Brick Road.” “The Wizard of Oz” is everyone’s favorite movie fantasy, now heading this spring, live on the Ephrata High School stage!

Students interested in auditioning for the musical may sign-up in the Student Activities Office from today to January 3rd. Information is also available in Schoology under EHS The Wizard of Oz Auditions 2019. You must attend both days of auditions to be considered for a role. Newcomers are warmly encouraged.

Students interested in Pit Orchestra may sign up for time slots near the band room. Their auditions will be held on a separate day scheduled for Thursday, Jan 9th. Students who may want to be part of stage crew, please continue to listen to the announcements for updates and information.

“The Wizard of Oz” will be directed and choreographed by Mr. Gonzalez with Vocal/Music Direction by Mrs. Owsinski and Pit Orchestra directed by Mrs. Klinger

And now its time to release the winners of the Go Nuts for Donuts!

The deluxe donut party winner is Miss Didyoung’s homeroom with approximately $560 raised!!!

The regular donut party winner is none other than the Ephrata AM homeroom with approximately $400 thanks to a generous donation from Trevor Dydo( Trevor Fill in the blank here... whose the business that donates again? Mention them here)

Third place with approximately $300 raised was Mrs Rasmus’s homeroom who will be awarded high fives from Marzock!!!

All donut parties will be delivered TOMORROW FRIDAY DEC 20th!!! So come hungry!!!!

Thank you to all homeroom a for helping raise money this year. We managed to raise over $4,700 AND over $1500 in presents and clothing this holiday season!!! Once again Ephrata, we came together at the last minute and pulled out another victory for 6 local families this holiday season. Thank you all so much for your generous donations!!! And happy holidays!!!!
